Mayer joins Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative communications team

GREEN BAY, Wis. — Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative announced Kayla Mayer as the newest addition to the company’s communication team today. Mayer will serve as the marketing and communications manager. She works closely with Director of Communications Laura Hensley to oversee strategic direction, create creative assets and offers overall communications support on behalf of the association and its affiliates.

kaylaMayer received her bachelor's degree in design arts with a double emphasis in photography and graphic design from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. In her previous role, Mayer oversaw marketing campaigns from conception to final execution, which involved social media management and the development of promotional materials.

Mayer has close ties to agriculture. She and her husband own a small herd of registered Brown Swiss and Red and White Holsteins, which they bring to national-level cattle shows. Mayer is also a proud mother to two boys, ages 3 and 10 months. She enjoys watching her children grow up and develop an appreciation for life on the farm.

Edge’s CEO Tim Trotter says Mayer plays a critical role in building out a successful communications team.
