Dairy farmers who ship their milk to private processors are eligible for full membership in Edge under the Federal Milk Marketing Orders. Farmers pay $0.015/cwt of milk shipped to their processor to Edge. The milk processor takes care of payment from the farm to Edge via milk assignments. Through this membership, members have full voting rights and are eligible to run for the board of directors. They are also able to participate in committees, focus groups and in all Edge activities.
