Americans drank more milk in 2024, reversing a decade-long decline

For more than a decade, Americans have been steadily drinking less milk each year. But the latest federal data shows sales of milk beverages turned around in 2024, increasing by 358 million pounds or just under 1 percentage point from the previous year to 43.2 billion pounds.

Time to Fix Farm Roads — ARIP Application period closes on December 15

Wisconsin’s Agriculture Road Improvement Program (ARIP) is still accepting project applications for Round 1, and the opportunity is too important for rural communities to miss. With $50 million available in the first round alone, now is the time for counties, towns and municipalities to step up and apply for funding to repair and upgrade the local roads our farms depend on every day.
We encourage DBA members to reach out to their local government officials and urge them to submit projects that strengthen transportation routes critical to dairy and agriculture.
