Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative, the second largest dairy cooperative in the country based on milk volume, celebrates the unanimous passage of the Whole Milk for Healthy Kids Act (S. 222) in the U.S. Senate.
The USDA Farm Service Agency is hosting a Dairy Stakeholder Webinar tomorrow, Wednesday, Nov. 26, at 10:00 a.m. CST. The webinar will cover details regarding the new Milk Loss Program for those recovering from natural disasters.

Milk production rose again in October. USDA’s National Agriculture Statistics Service says the twenty-four major milk producing states saw production climb 3.9 percent over October of 2024 to 18.7 billion pounds.
The Dairy Innovation Hub held its sixth annual Dairy Summit on Tuesday, November 18, at the UW–River Falls campus. Through poster sessions, research presentations, and a panel discussion, the summit highlighted the latest Hub-funded research underway at UW–Madison, UW–Platteville, and UW–River Falls, addressing challenges facing today’s dairy community.
