GREEN BAY, Wis. — Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative, one of the largest dairy cooperatives in the country, re-elected three dairy farmers to the board of directors during the co-op’s annual business meeting at the 2024 Dairy Strong conference.
The three board members:
After previously serving as board secretary, Heidi Fischer of Fischer-Clark Dairy in Hatley, Wis., was elected vice president of the board, and Josh Meissner of Norm-E-Lane in Chili, Wis., will fill Fischer’s position as secretary.
Other board members: Brody Stapel of Double Dutch Dairy in Cedar Grove, Wis., president; Mike Crinion of Ash Grove Dairy in Lake Benton, S.D., director; Jay Stauffacher of Highway Dairy in Darlington, Wis., director; Mitch Davis of Davis Family Dairies in Le Sueur, Minn., adviser; and Dr. Marin Bozic of Bozic LLC in St. Paul, Minn., adviser.
This year’s Dairy Strong conference brought more than 400 attendees, representing over 280,000 cows, and industry professionals to the KI Convention Center.
